goodbye for now, hyderabad.
off to kerala!
impromptu palm reading.
suddenly on a train watching everything go by.
fresh train art.
(the first of many)
on the way to kerala-- sometime in the 24 hour ride--
as proven by the lovely view from dinner. as one especially bucktoothed aussie put it, "greenpeace wouldn't like the looks of that."
and ii feel just like a child
water flowers.
thank you for that stench of fresh fish before dinner.
kathakali dance performance
thats longer than the sleep we got.
a pretty OK pitstop.
ducking from the sudden rain
mini nanners
hey.
munchmunchmunch
sick sick martin...
slave driver
time for a trek. get on the leech battle gear.
shroomies!
leeeeeeech. eek. they were everywhere and we were always covered, always pouring salt on ourselves.
oh no... there's one on my ass!
we made it to the waterfall---
it was stormy the second half of the trek. totally soaked.
most cherished of fires.
our clothes were steaming.
the measures we took to be leech free.
manlove round the fire.
the fire room was a graveyard of sorts.
houseboat ride in the backwaters of kerala! i have never felt so pampered. we were given fresh jasmine necklaces and drank fresh coconut water with a straw. quite different from other india travel experiences.
our captain.
toddy-- coconut ferment.
